Surrey LIP Community Stakeholder Forum 2025 – Facing the Future of Immigration: Advocacy, Innovation and Community Preparedness

We are excited to host our annual Surrey LIP Community Stakeholder Forum under the theme, “Facing the Future of Immigration: Advocacy, Innovation, and Community Preparedness,” on January 27, 2025, 1 pm–5 pm at the SFU Surrey Campus.

The Community Stakeholder Engagement Forum will bring together community leaders, service providers, policymakers, and newcomers to discuss the evolving landscape of immigration in Canada. The forum this year will assess the community’s preparedness to support newcomers and ensure their successful integration, focusing on the impact of shifting immigration policies, the readiness of local services, and strengthening partnerships to better serve both new arrivals and existing residents.

This forum is your chance to network, collaborate, share experiences, and explore collective actions to create a more resilient, inclusive community where all residents can thrive.
