Enter the Surrey Youth Newcomer Council (SYNC), a community of Surrey youth dedicated to improving the City of Surrey for newcomer youth. SYNC aims to create opportunities for youth to gather, connect across cultures, share their experiences and perspectives, and develop leadership skills.
Want to join? Eligibility requirements include:
- Youth between the ages of 14–28
- Resident of Surrey, BC
- Can attend council meetings (1 per month)
- Eager to help other newcomer youths in Surrey
- Can commit to monthly meetings and working group engagements
