YWCA ASPIRE Employment Information Session

The YWCA Aspire Refugee Women Employment Program is now accepting applications for the Fall cohort, which starts Dec 9, 2024.

Quick facts and highlights about the program:

• Since 2019, the Aspire program has been supporting self-defined refugee women in the community to jump-start a meaningful career in Canada
• Average program outcome 89%
• Language support for low LINC Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Dari speaking participants
• Hybrid program, participants can join from anywhere in BC
• We have a customized approach for every program participant preparing for the labour market and connect them for employment in their respective fields with WorkBC wage subsidy, connect them to industry professionals with similar occupations, match skilled volunteering/internship opportunities, provide one-on-one career advising for maximum 20 weeks and provide mentoring support.
• CUATE Ukrainian women are eligible to participate in the ASPIRE program
