SYNC Community Showcase!

Join us for a community showcase featuring creative projects by racialized youth addressing cycling challenges in Surrey.
From December 2024 to March 2025, SFU Research and Action for Healthy Cities (REACH-Cities) and Surrey Local Immigration Partnership (LIP), with support from the City of Surrey and Bird Canada, engaged racialized youth in discussions about cycling as a transportation option in Surrey.
Showcase will include:
- Interactive displays of cycling solutions addressing cultural perceptions, safety concerns and practical issues like bike parking and route planning.
- Opportunities for community dialogue and feedback
- Light refreshments provided
Come support the next generation of urban planners and community advocates as they reimagine cycling in Surrey.
