Surrey LIP Partnership Council

The Surrey LIP is led by a 30+ member council and is chaired by DIVERSEcity’s CEO, Neelam Sahota.

The Surrey LIP is a collective of community partners united in the vision of cultivating a fair and inclusive city where all immigrants, refugees, and citizens thrive. Through dialogue and research, Surrey LIP membership collaborates on innovative and community-driven initiatives to meet the changing needs of one of the fastest-growing cities in B.C. They leverage their diverse perspectives, their expertise and pool resources to develop and deliver on strategies that prepare the community to welcome and fully include new immigrants and refugees.

The Surrey LIP Council will provide advice and guidance to the Project Management Team on the development and implementation of Surrey LIP strategic priorities and activities.
