DESCRIPTION:The BC Refugee Hub will be hosting a two-part webinar series designed to support organizations working with refugee claimants. This series will delve into trauma-informed practices\, focusing on cultural sensitivity and the emotional challenges faced by refugee claimants. This series is especially valuable for those seeking to build a deeper understanding of the mental health impacts on both clients and service providers. \nAbout the Speaker:  \nFarah Kotadia\, a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the Immigrant Integration sector\, will be leading this series. Farah is a strong advocate for mental health awareness\, holding a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology\, and an MBA in Human Resources. Her extensive background in clinical counselling and human resources enables her to provide practical\, compassionate insights into supporting individuals with lived experience of trauma.
