The CRRF's Awards of Excellence: Nominations Are Open

The Awards of Excellence is the Foundation’s biennial flagship program that celebrates the achievements of individuals or organizations in their pursuit of harmonious race relations and the elimination of racism and hatred in Canada.

Award winners will be invited to attend the National Conference in Toronto on October 26 and 27, 2016. Transportation and accommodation expenses will be paid for by the CRRF. 

How to apply:

  • Qualifying entries will be part of the CRRF’s Best Practices – a program that documents and celebrates innovative approaches to promoting harmonious race relations.
  • Qualifying Best Practices entries will be part of the CRRF’s Clearinghouse database, where we collect resources related to race relations, the promotion of Canadian identity, sense of belonging and reciprocity of rights and responsibilities. Entries will also be included in the CRRF’s Best Practices Reader, published online every two years.
  • A jury will present the Awards of Excellence to organizations whose Best Practices represent excellence in building harmonious race relations while demonstrate specific criteria.
