The Career Advancement Network (CAN) for Newcomers helps to empower members who moved to Canada in the last 5 years, are emerging or in job transition and are actively seeking employment or interested in career development topics. Participants have an opportunity to discuss career goals and develop practical skills to enhance their job search effort.
Conducting an Effective Job Search
This roundtable will walk participants through how to effectively search for a job utilizing an online search engine. Attendees will walk away with how to use keywords for their job search, how to follow companies of interest, receive notifications and filter through job postings that best fit their search.
